When looking at our finances I realized that the number one reason we built up debt is because of how much we spent on food. We eat out often, purchase lots of food and then watch it go to waste. So I decided that we are slashing our food bill from over $600 to $300 a month. $100 of that is for baby formula and the other $200 will cover my husband and I for the whole month. The difference will go to pay off debt. So we are basically paying debt off one meal at a time! Wish me luck!

Mashed Potato Salad
My husband has a work related dinner tonight so it is just me. I REALLY didn't want to cook so I decided to make dinner with what leftovers I had. The result....Mashed Potato Salad.....or at least that is what I named it. Definitely not very healthy but it sure was good. Here is the....uh.... "recipe" ;).
Mashed Potato Salad
3 cups leftover Instant Mashed Potatoes
1 can Green Beans
3 oz. thinly cut Ham (I used leftover lunch meat)
Grated Cheese (had a little bit leftover that needed to be used)
Mix everything together and microwave on high until hot. Add salt and Pepper to taste.
